Senate Mopeli

After completing in 2014 her diploma in Operations Management, Senate was caught in the web of unemployment and joined her mothers’ current company as a general worker while looking for a better opportunity. Increased frustration not working at the level she studied, led her to return to varsity, register for marketing and customer centricity.
Senate joined the Corporate Literacy Program (CLP) in 2017 as part of the request from our client Boxmore. After the completion of the CLP, she was taken into an internship within the sales department and given an ambitious project.

– Senate Mopeli

Senate was faced with the pressures and challenges of corporate life, which almost led her to quit. However, the Personal Development Programme (PDP), one of the key features of TEF, allowed her to reassess the opportunity given and make the best of it. A mere three months later, and long before the internship would come to an end, Senate was offered a permanent position.

This moment in the PDP undoubtedly stand as her most defining moment of the whole journey and definitely shaped her to the woman she is today. Reflecting on the last 4 years, she adds “The experience at TEF was life changing for me and I realise that I absolutely love the work that I do at Boxmore.” She is looking at growing as a business development manager in the next 3 years, ideally at Boxmore or any other FMCG company.
